Apple has just seeded the release candidate versions of visionOS 2.1 and tvOS 18.1 for developers and public beta testers. These updates come about a week after the fourth betas were released.
- tvOS 18.1: Available through the Apple TV Settings app, this update is expected to include bug fixes and minor tweaks.
- visionOS 2.1: Can be installed via the Software Update section on the Vision Pro by opting into Beta Updates. Like tvOS, no major new features have been noted so far, but improvements and fixes are anticipated.
These updates accompany the iOS 18.1 and macOS Sequoia 15.1 release candidates, though there are no Apple Intelligence features in tvOS and visionOS at this time. Further details may become available in Apple’s release notes once the software is officially rolled out.
